Everything happen for a reason!??

It was calm Sunday morning on 25.8.13. As usual I prepared my family's favourite tosai ( Indian pan cake) and chicken curry for breakfast. After we had our breakfast, I went to the room since I feel a bit uncomfortable. I need rest you see. I was 35+++ weeks pregnant. Since I need to prepare lunch, I woke up and went to wash room first. Everything change after that!

I saw some blood stain..... I was so panic. It's not time for delivery yet! how come there are delivery sign? I was so panic. Called the husband who was down stair watching TV with my son. At the same time I did sms my gynea. He replied by asking me to admit to the hospital. He will sent his doctor since he was on the way to KL from outstation.

We rush to the hospital after sending my son to my in law house. The labour ward nurse welcome me in as all the arrangement has been done by my gynea. Thanks to him! The doctor came 10 minutes after I was hooked up to contraction detection machine. She scan and checked me....... and informed me that the it does not look like time for delivery but I have mild contraction. Therefore they need to admit me. The stain was not fresh blood so she told may be it's because I strain myself with work at home. Nevertheless she ordered to give steroid jab to me just in case if the baby decided to come out! The steroid jab will mature the baby lung! That's the time I got to know that lung are the last organ to develop at 35 weeks! I was still unable to understand her explanation.........I was in panic you see......I was not a gynea too.......

My gynea came about 3pm. He told it should be OK and I will be discharged next day! I was so relieved. The husband went back peacefully after hearing my gynea's advice. he need to accompany my 1st son at in law house! I was reading Petunia's book ( one of my favourite blogger's book) while the contraction detection machine is still hook up to my tummy. Luckily I manage to bring a book with me!

Late at night the nurse started to monitor very closely as they detect my baby heartbeat does drop down and catch up again! My gynea came close to 12 midnight as the baby heart beat has a minor dip. But his words was very positive that I slept peacefully. He suspect it's just my movement during sleeping make the detector giving wrong reading......

I woke up 5.30am the next day. Took my bath and prepared myself to go back. The nurse as usual was having routine check on me. Taking blood pressure and temperature. Normal test for all in labour ward I guess...... All of sudden at 7.15am, my water bag burst! That's the most panic moment for me! I was not mentally prepared to go on labour! I had packed to go home!!! The nurse checked and informed me that I have dilated 2cm! Oh god! Please tell me that this is just a bad dream! So many things came into my mind! Premature baby? how ? why? can I manage? how to manage ? .....I was just so frustrated! Called the husband. He was on the way but stuck in hectic jam. My gynea came after half and hour. He told he need to do emergency C-section as the baby is low weight. Baby with low birth weight does not do well with normal delivery! They might get stressed! Oh Dear! I neither can really understand the medical terms nor understand what is happening!

The ability to make good decisions is a key to success in life, and in ...

The gynea called and informed my husband. My husband give a green light as he is just an engineer you see! Both of us can't decide at this point of time! We let the specialist decide!

Soon after I was signing many forms! Forms that says "if anything happen the hospital won't take the responsibility, etc".....This was suppose to be sign off by my husband but since he was still stuck in traffic , I sign all of them....... one by one.....My eyes was watery.... I was too nervous! The nurse tried to calm me down........ to be continued.......
