Deepavali this year was so special for me! I have brave through a hard moment and felt like have return from the death row!
Deepavali is a day celebrated to reflect the success of combating the evil! So it has a meaning for me this year!
The eve of Deepavali, my parents was still my home. They left to my brother's house about 2pm. This year my family decided to celebrate in my brother's house. It's just 45 minutes away. The evening we went to my in-law house. I was not there for long hours like previous years. I have little baby. I return early with my little precious one. My 1st son and the husband had fun with fire crackers at in law house.
On Deepavali day, we took bath early in the morning. It's called oil bath as we pour some oil and take bath. It's believe that taking bath with oil on this day resemble taking bath in Ganges river in India. All four of us went to temple and then to in-law house. Had breakfast. My 1st son was enjoying himself with the grandparents.
The second day, we went to my brother's house. We had biryani for lunch! It's been ages that I tasted my mother's biryani rice! It was so yummy! As usual my 1son was enjoying himself with the cousins. They were chasing, shouting, playing and doing everything which make them enjoy themselves! The house was full of noises! My baby was trying hard to fall asleep as he is so use to quiet house environment! After all it's Deepavali and I can't do anything! Somehow the baby slept off.
We came back on 3rd day evening. On 4th day all my siblings came to my house. Luckily my parents came back on 3rd day night so I have my mother to help me with the cooking! My both sons just love my father's company so I have no worries. Even the baby can sleep when my father rock him! What a lovey grandpa!
It was 5 days of celebration full of joy! May the fun and joy remains forever! ;)
